So....I totally thought I had written a review here awhile back but, apparently, that thought has somehow eluded me. The benefits of getting old, I guess! I've frequented this place probably maybe a dozen times over the last couple years (sorry, no photos to share about the experiences) and for the most part I will say the food has been solid. There has been times it's been a hit or miss but I feel it's par for the course at times. Not everyday a place is going to serve a stellar meal. It's just the way it is. I think their winners are the various tacos they serve such as the al pastor, fish, and asada. Their tortas can be amazing, I suggest the asada. There have been times I've went there and they have ran out of bread, which means people enjoy them and believe they are either made and/or delivered fresh daily. I think their nachos can be a hit or miss but usually solid as well with fresh ingredients. Sometimes it seems they can be a little heavy on the salt, depending on what you order. I will say I ordered the asada fries once and wasn't a huge fan. The fries weren't cooked long enough and with everything on top made them soggy pretty quick. I'm picky about my fries though. Lol Even though I may haven't tried everything this place has to offer, I feel this place is genuine and serves very good, sometimes great food. I would recommend. Service is good and the prices are very affordable. 4 out of 5 stars.

I finally was able to try these amazing authentic tacos that is the most talked about. They lived to the expectation! I literally devoured the plate. I had carne asada tacos and chicken. It was freshly made with the right amount of seasoning. Perfect sized. These are the tacos I love to eat when I use to get them back in Chicago. I can eat these all day. Service was quick when I ordered for pick up. Casual ambiance. You just order and go.

OH. MY. GOSH. THE. TACOS. The shrimp and the fish tacos. The flavor. The seasoning. The HOMEMADE TORTILLAS! They are sort of puffy and cornmeal type. Not corn. Not flour. Maybe a little of both? So good. I was blown away by how authentic this food is. The service is super friendly also. This is a simple place. The menu has menudo. No frills decor. If I had not been traveling I would have gotten some tortillas to go. They are that good. The side of beans -- AWESOME. Go get yourself some tacos and decide for yourself.

Small little restaurant with a few tables and music playing in the background. You order at the count and the staff was nice The tortillas for all the tacos were all delicious; nothing like homemade/fresh tortillas Al Pastor - had flavor but of cinnamon, not what I'm used to so it was meh in my opinion The asada and lengua were cooked well and were tender but seriously lacking any flavor. I had to add salt and even that wasn't enough. The salsas were also ok, no heat just plain and again missing flavor. My son in law said the flaming Cheetos tacos were ok, not a big amount of flavor but you can get a hint of the Cheetos. I am going to say this must have been an off day cause I've had them at Allegiant Stadium and the flavors were completely different.
